Wow, what an extraordinary blast to the taste buds that pastrami was - and the potato pancakes - and the chopped liver as well as the brisket - to the tune of a stella artois and you could call it heaven with a bit of heartburn - but heaven nonetheless. My friends and I all agree that the deli scene in NY makes you forget about Chicago deep-dish, hot dogs and those stinkin (gotta love em) Cubbies!! I'm planning my return to Katz so I can take a bite outta the big apple again and all the food I missed on this trip!! Glad I didn't lose that ticket - however $50.00 can go pretty fast here!!

I order a sandwich. My hand portion gives the first time a generous sample. I put the paper plate sandwich and throw some pickles on a plate to another. Give the ticket and write the amount owed on it. Place the tip of the cup, take a sheet and then go find a table.
